Direct Marketing Association
The DMA protects consumers from inappropriate and unethical behaviour by unscrupulous or ignorant practitioners (hooray!). It promotes best practice through the DM Code of Practice, and provides up-to-the-minute information, research and legal advice.
British Market Research Association
The trade association for the British market research industry. The site includes the Researcher's Toolkit, which proffers advice on a variety of subjects including how to commission research and how to write a research brief.

Marketing news from Campaign and Marketing magazines. The site's highlight, Ad of the Week, makes it well worth a visit.
