In 1974 Martin Conroy wrote a mailshot for subscriptions to the Wall Street Journal. His letter has been running virtually unchanged ever since. It has been dubbed "the most successful ad in the history of the world" and has made many millions of dollars.

Now we don't promise we'll write you an advert that you'll run for the next 30 years (although we'll try). What we do promise you is effective delivery of your sales message.

We follow the AIDA principle:

First grab the reader's Attention. Once we've got them, create Interest through the relevance of the message. If the approach and offer are delivered correctly, interest should give way to Desire. Finally we make it easy for the reader to take Action, either visiting your website, cutting out the coupon, visiting your shop or whatever.
